Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-01-16
DNAlyse OÜ (registry code: 17215667) is committed to genomic data privacy. Our GenSeqTech software is designed for in-house, on-premise deployment so that DNAlyse never handles your sensitive genetic information.
1. Data Controller
DNAlyse OÜ does not collect or process personal data related to genetic services. DNAlyse acts solely as a facilitator, enabling access to third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies and as independent data controllers. At DNAlyse, the owner of the GenSeqTech software, we believe that genomic data privacy is a fundamental right. Our business model is engineered to ensure that we never handle your sensitive genetic information. GenSeqTech is an In-House solution. Because the software runs on your local servers, DNAlyse acts as a Software Provider, not a Data Processor. We do not collect, store, share, or analyze any genetic or personal data uploaded to the GenSeqTech platform by our clients.
2. Information We Collect
DNAlyse collects only minimal technical or commercial data such as:
Business contact information (e.g. company email, name)
Website usage metadata (e.g. IP address, browser type, device data)
No genetic, health, or personally identifiable data is processed or stored by DNAlyse. We only collect minimal administrative data required for GenSeqTech business operations such as:
- Registration Data: Contact details provided during the B2B licensing process.
- Technical Validation: Basic license keys used to activate the software locally.
- Customer Support: Information provided voluntarily during technical support requests (limited to software performance issues, never involving patient data).
3. Use of Collected Information
The minimal data collected is used solely for:
Communicating with professional partners
Ensuring Website functionality
Improving user experience
4. Legal Basis
The processing of business contact data and website metadata is based on DNAlyse’s legitimate interest in conducting B2B operations and ensuring website security.
5. Data Retention
Data collected via the Website is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill its intended purpose. Technical metadata may be stored for up to 12 months for security and analytical purposes.
6. Third-Party Providers
All services accessed via DNAlyse are fulfilled by a GDPR-compliant third-party provider. Upon legitimate request, the identity and privacy policy of this provider will be made available. DNAlyse has no access to genetic or personal data transmitted to these providers.
7. User Rights
Since DNAlyse does not process personal data, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) must be directed to the third-party provider. Contact details can be provided upon request.
GDPR and HIPAA Compliance: By keeping all GenSeqTech related genomic data within the Client’s own facility, the GenSeqTech software allows institutions to maintain 100% compliance with local and international data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) without the risks associated with third-party cloud storage.
8. Cookies
This Website uses essential cookies required for website operation. No tracking or marketing cookies are used. Currently, we set one essential cookie to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice: gst_cookie_banner_dismissed.
